The Food Industry Center shares its research on the food industry in various publications and presentations throughout the year. Publications include findings from our strategic research areas as well as on other contemporary food industry issues.
TFIC Publications
The Center provides an annual wrap up of its yearly acitivies in the TFIC annual report. Electronic copies of the report are listed on the Annual Report page.
In order to share knowledge from our Center sponsored events, TFIC has begun publshing summaries of its events. The Event Summaries page provides summaries of our annual fall conference and other seminars and workshops hosted throughout the year.
The TFIC Newsletter is published three times a year; current and past issues can also be found in this section. Sign up to join our electronic mailing list and receive the TFIC newsletter via e-mail.
TFIC Working Papers present research findings conducted by faculty and graduate students. Working papers are frequently published in advance of their additional publication in scholarly journals or in books, allowing us to provide the information sooner.

The book and journal article sections provide references to the academic publications of our faculty and graduate students .
The Waite Library, in the Department of Applied Economics, houses a large reference section on the food industry made possible with grants from the Sloan Foundation. These publications may not be checked out by non-students, but with permission, outsiders are welcome to use the references in the library.
We have also compiled a list current articles and presentations that provide further information on current food industry issues and topics. |
